Recent Burglaries

Medford Township Police are investigating a burglary attempt on Midbridge Drive and a burglary on Wellesley Way, both of which occurred between April 28-29th. In both incidents, the residents were at home but did not encounter the perpetrator(s). The first incident on Midbridge Dr. occurred at approximately 10:15pm. on April 28th. Unknown actor(s) pried the screen off a rear window but were only able to open the window approximately one-quarter of an inch. The homeowner’s… alarm activated, however they did not notice anything out of the ordinary at the time. The second incident occurred on Wellesley Way at 8:50am on April 29th. While the homeowner and her child were in a second floor bedroom, two subjects entered the residence through an unlocked front door but subsequently fled, leaving the door open, without taking any property.

Residents are reminded to lock home and car doors, even when at home, and to set alarms. Citizens can also assist police by reporting any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods by calling 609-267-8300.
