Vincent J. Danielenko, 89, of Medford, NJ, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Veterans Home in Vineland, NJ.
Born in Maspeth, NY, Vincent resided in Medford for the last 38 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during WWII. Vincent was a Mechanical Engineer, and retired from the Lakehurst Naval Air Force Base. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Woods in Medford Lakes, the VFW Post 7677 in Medford, the Medford Village Country Club and the Jersey Skiters Ski Club. Vincent was an instrumental part of the Armed Forces Heritage Museum, which is a museum for the joint bases at Ft. Dix, NJ.
Father of the late Connie Danielenko; he is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Eileen (nee Dunker) Danielenko; four loving daughters, Jeanie Michener (Ken), Pamela Behmke, Debbie Flamini (Joe), and Wendy Schetter (George); 3 step children, Mark Johnson (Loretta), Lori Counts, and Eric Johnson; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, from 10-11AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home.
Interment will be held in Park View Cemetery in the Historic section of Medford.
