The Township is able to provide a second pass of brush and will do so starting Monday, May 6, 2013. Residents should have brush placed by Monday, May 6, 2013 at 7 AM starting in Zone 5. From Zone 5 we will go to 4, 3, 2 and then 1. Brush shall include the pruning of trees, shrubs, bushes or vines but exclude grass clippings, flowers, weeds, tree trunks and stumps, and leaves. If the excluded items are commingled with the brush crews will not pick up.
The Medford Township Police will be hosting an Operation Take Back local collection site as part of the D.E.A. Operation Take Back medicine disposal day. The event will take place at the Medford Township Public Safety Building, located at 91 Union Street in Medford, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013. This initiative, open to all residents, was organized to encourage local community residents to properly dispose of their unused, unwanted and expired medicine anonymously.
